We call the county tax office and gather the current year and prior year tax information and also check for lower entity taxes.
We check if there is any open code enforcement violation against the property. If there are any open Violations then we procure for the type of violations, case number and the amount due good through end of the month.
This is the same as the code enforcement process. We will check with the city building department if the property is in county/city limits and inquire if there is any open or expired building permits against the property. If yes, we capture the type of permit, permit number and the amount due good through end of the month.
We report water, sewer and trash details by contacting the respective utility department and procure the payoff if the bills are unpaid/due.
